Portrait of an Opera Singer – 1 minute documentary about Leon de la Guardia

A 1-minute documentary featuring operatic tenor Leon de la Guardia in Italy. This was my entry for Sony’s 1-minute documentary competition.

Leon is a very talented opera singer who has travelled the world looking for perfection in his technique. He currently resides in Asolo, in the north of Italy, a magical little town that time seems to have forgotten.

BUNDESPRÄSIDENT: BLAMIERT, BESCHÄDIGT? – ATV Documentary

A documentary for Austria’s ATV Television, where I worked as Camera Assistant to Cinematographer Nino Leitner.

During the race for the Austrian Presidency, private TV broadcaster ATV put the two final candidates against one one another in an unmoderated television debate – an experiment that hadn’t been executed since the 60’s.

The documentary deals with historical comparisons to that debate, as well as commenting on the journalistic and editorial merits of this presidential duel in which both candidates to the presidency lost their composure in front of a national television audience.

Through the Thick – Preserving the Rhino in South Africa

During early 2016, I was fortunate enough to join NinoFilm GmbH. in Vienna as an Assistant Editor working on this beautiful documentary about rhino preservation in South Africa.

It was a joy to work on this project, combining different footage from cameras such as the Sony A7s, Sony FS7 and GoPros, as well as gorgeous High Frame Rate footage from a Phantom Flex 4K camera.

Many thanks to Nino Leitner for the opportunity.
